Post Extra enemies in Challenge?
Hey. I read somewhere that there were new XML rules by ANDREI for Regular mode, but if I play challenge mode with more than 1 player, the rules seem to take effect.

Is that normal? I read they weren't meant to be in challenge mode at all.

There are 2 sets of xmlrules:
  • The basic set, it is used for both modes (regular/challenge). It can change monsters type and add some loot to the monsters.
  • The ANDREI set, it apply only to regular mode and add a lot of monsters.

Eh.. Been a while since i played COOD with someone, but I doubt that's true. As pat stated... it would only change monsters (and it does even if you're alone).

I played all the way to the end of the factory with extra monsters. Barely enough ammo, ended up blastering most of the prison - killed 6 tanks with the blaster only.

As much as I would like to earn my proposed Black Star, I simply can't do it. I'm outside the Makron's chamber, and ANDREI monsters are on even though I'm in challenge mode. I'd appreciate it if this problem was fixed ;D

an old bug which pat wasn't able to fix it :(
i'll try to do it, but it will be easier for me because i know a lot of shortcuts and a lot of secrets =] (this meaning every secret)

Thanks ANDREI. I'll see if I can make it back to the Makron without getting lasered xD hopefully the extra monsters will be off. I just don't have the ammo to kill all the extra monsters (and one Invincibility won't last long enough)
