Well, it's been some time since Pat said something like this: "...the only and last update i would add on Coopordie would be the expansion packs. That's not planned to be done soon though.".

Now I'd like to ask you, what else is required in order to add the expansion packs, except the teleporters and an eventual bigger startmap? Probably the stars... but those aren't required though.

Theoretically, in my opinion, they should be just like the additional maps (Stench, Premonition of Angron) except that they need some additional code-lines on the world server. Probably some copy-paste script =), but with some additional items (Double Damage, Double-FireRate, the new weapons etc).

The answer is here : viewtopic.php?p=3404#p3404

Expansion packs have separate DLL, so all the coopordie DLL modifications have to be reported to them.

The main reason I won't do it myself is similar to the reason I won't work anymore on coopordie for Quake2 : Quake2 is written in C and the worldserver is written in PHP. I'm no more interested by these languages. My new projects are written in C# (with Unity), and worldserver in C# (with IIS).

I'm sorry for that, but of course, coopordie for Quake2 is open-source and if somebody want to do it, there is no problem.

PERHAPS someone has skills to do things like this.
And perhaps it`s possible to convert doom 2 maps to quake 2 XD. I`m doing good with that doom builder, but having problems with switches now. :P

Ignoring the fact that it's off-topic...

I didn't hear about it :P, but Quake 4 coop would be nice. I might get it only if someone'd want to coop with me... because I already finished it 2 or 3 times  a few years ago.
