setting skill is considered as cheat? i mean, writting in console "set skill 1", this sets skill to easy. is it allowed?

Yes, setting skill is considered as cheat.

But I think it is not possible to change the skill with coopordie without a hack, the variable is locked. I have removed you from the betatester list, could you retry and tell me if you can change the skill level ?

Hey, Pat, an wonderful idea.. Why not simply wipe out all those cvars from console access?

I mean.. You can only change it WITH the dll itself... per say, there is no longer a way to "set cheats 1" since there would be no cvar called cheats, but it still exists, and IS 0.

##EDIT##
Ehh, I was lazy to create a new post, so what the hell.

Andrei: that would require that every cvar - that you want to protect - checks a variable that's either 0 or 1, or true or false, or w/e, which will lead to over-load.

i have got an ideea:

for challenge mod:pat, you should disable every cvar :D (rdv's ideea)

for regular mod: you should let us set cvars like skill,cheats,... because it's regular and it does not matter
