Hi there again :)

I still got some strange errors with coopordie :/

The first one is pretty annoying.
The Boss at the Big Gun does not spawn...i don`t know what is triggering that but it is random and it is driving FUCKING MAAAAAAAHAAAAD ;)
Getting this far in challenge mode and then...this damn boss doesn`t show up... that pussy ;)


The second bug is far more annoying and appears always!
It is not possible for me to reprogramm the data spinner in the palace level.
Some Trigger or event does not happen...i cannot complete this map and cannot get to makron.

I have these bugs since 2004 when i first joined coopordie. - i could never complete one run...even with my friends(back then ng_smu and c_hair hosted the game..)

I now have a fresh installation of quake 2(with 3.20 of course)
hell..im even using a different computer.
I also tried quake 2 XP - which is also no solution.

Pat...i mean..what the hell?
After all this time...this still is happening to me..what am i doing different then the others?

When this is a known bug..what can i do to avoid that problem?
I think i must have something todo with the world server because these bugs do appear on different computers with different engines.

The palace level bug.. well, for me the palace unit is strange because there are yellow forcefields which aren't required to finish the unit.

If you can host and show me the bugs i may understand better the bugs (which didn't happen to me!) and eventually tell you what's wrong.

i would love to play with you! So far the Big Gun Boss not appearing only happened a few times'(but only with this mod). I read something about to many entities and invisible monsters..but this is different :/


i will host a normal mode game today so that you can hop in anytime.

Hi eispfogel, and welcome back ;)

Try to not use the "ANDREI additional monsters" because they can cause overflow bugs.

For the palace level, as far as I can remember, this bug occurs if you return to the startmap and use the "last played" teleporter. Try to beat the mission in one session, without returning to the StartMap. Maps are re-initialized when you return to the startmap.

I'm sorry about the existing bugs of coopordie, bug I have switched to another project and can't invest more time here...

No Problem Pat i know you are busy with Coop or die 2 which i am really looking forward to :)

I played the challenge mode, so i did not die and reenter the map.
Andrei and me tried yesterday to see what is happening..but...the Biggun Boss appeared and also the data spinner appeared..i don`t know...maybe it is just happening to me when playing the challenge mode and something i do when playing.

i read about the overflow bug and the invisible monsters(or health packs). next time i will enter the boss with the BFDG instead of the minigun just to decrease the entitys.

i will record a demo next time..just in case :)
