Post subject:  Password with spaces

A friend of mine created an account but can't login in the world server because his password contains spaces, how is he suposed to do so?
Ussing "" arround the whole thing doesn't seems to work, or _ instead of the spaces.

I`m not really sure, how to fix this, though. I think there was one post about unnecessary symbols used in the password, and they pretended player from logging in.
Anyway, my opinion would be, that your friend should change his password, cause the current one with spaces seems to confuse him and you.
And that new password should not include any spaces, tho.

That`s, because when logging to coopordie with that BAT file and writing that whole "wsrv_login" thing, quake2 sees only one part of the password, if the pass has spaces. It`s like ->
EXAMPLE -> pass -> "coop die"
quake 2 recognises only this -> "coop"
And that guy hasn`t registered as coop_die, but as "coop die", so quake2 doesn`t recognise this -> "coop_die".

So, well, the password should be changed into, like, COOP0DIE, for example.

I hope you understood, what I said, because my speech here looks a bit chaotic.

I understood, thanks for the help. I will say him to change the password as soon as I can.
