Mutants can die, but actually they escape to the acid sea when they left 1/3 of their health points.

Players won't level up, but mutants could. I think it could be an interesting "persistent" feature, if you don't finish mutants, they will be harder for the next players who visit that map...

Don't believe so. Think about when you have multiple games at the same time? Who'll decide the next resistance of the monsters?

In any case, I just have one complain. The gun moved, but the other hand didn't. And god, that guy looks so awfull (maybe if I were a girl...).

What I plan is a mix between classic MMO world where every place is unique and instances. Let say we have a set of 10 islands (each is a map), if you create a game on island N°1, then this island is locked during your game. If you allow it, some players may join you, else they have to start a game on one of the 9 islands left. You won't be able to block the map for a too long time, because the game is time limited (acid sea tide).

Probably a code clean-up and after a sprint related to the main character and camera movement.
