So what's going to happen? are weapons going to be droppable or not?

I think yes, but a modification to the dll is needed, so don't expect it to be a priority.

I will first finish the new inventory per team system (worldserver side only), and then add the "Angron" mission.

Good to hear, hopefully it'll help out, as I really am annoyed at this part in Q2 where I'm against 3 gunners and a gladiator in a tight space with 10 grenades and a blaster.

It's good to hear that you have decided to add Premonition of Angron. ;)

Played that campaign, was pretty good. A bit on the short side though.

Post Re: Dropping Weapon Upon Death
Interesting thread guys, I had thought of this topic a few times.
I'll describe a situation:

I'm not the greatest player and enter the mines with a shotgun, super shotgun, machine gun and some other random items.
If I die, I have to start over from square one to get those guns back because without them, i'll just get pwned.

After 4 attempts that gets pretty annoying, it's like having a negative handicap: the good players stay alive and have good weapons, the bad players die and get a blaster.

I would vote for having a system where if you enter a level with a certain inventory, you get that same inventory back after dying and restarting the level.

PS: I beat the mines today after like 7 attempts :P

You can revisit previous levels if you really need weapons.

Personally this change doesn't affect me much since I play challenge but dropping weapons like in Quake I would be nice.

Dude, revisiting levels in coopordie = death. Unless you haven't quit the game. I don't know about you, but after dying, I usually quit.

Get all the weapons you need from Jail1, then do wsrv_login and it'll take you back with all your weapons so you can go back to the mines.
