both servers are full and i was wondering if you can make a new one :?:

I don't see a problem with that. You could also inform us of the server name and password you chose, so that others can join, too. :]

Or you could just forward the ports :)

Of course port forwarding is better, but it is not easy for everybody. It depends on your router or Internet service provider, and can't be done everywhere (public network ...).

So, configure a port forwarding if you can, or use Hamachi.

Yeah. I can't port forward because My router only lets me port forward up to 10 things..... Someday I will get a better router.
So it bugs me when someone keeps telling he hates hamachi because it's slow or something like that. When he has port forwarded, but I'm not able to.

Also, if you hop from game to game a lot, port forwarding is rather tedious because not all games tell you their port like quake 2 does. Especially if you have a friend that game hops with you. A lot of people don't know how to port forward, or are afraid to mess with router settings.

Or it also works for people that has a Modem that has a firewall and it's DMZ doesn't work...

Anyway... Hamachi works pretty fine... Of course some way to don't have to host it ourselves, but having it on a server that has lowping for everyone could be pretty good... But, as coop or die is not that popular for someone deciding on suporting a Quake 2 Coop or Die server... We can't ask that...

Going back to topic... If by some reason hamachi is not working properly (I mean, it is not entering) try this:

1. Open hamachi and let it connect
2. Disable your internet connection... letting hamachi trying to connect.
3. Open Quake 2
4. Log (I haven't tested this, so USE AT YOUR OWN RISK).
5. Join the others game via Hamachis Ip.
6. Restablish your internet connection.
7. Enjoy the game.

Due to the nature of Coop or Die, I don't know if trying to log in without internet connection will work, and for that reason, you could try to log, then disable, then join, then re-enable, then enjoy.

// Thanks to Hamachi wiki.

@Lavama: Wippien is a good solution, it's a free software and there is no limitation about number of users. The only drawback is that you need to register a (free) Jabber account.
